So good! He always had a really solid spot and trick selection.
And I suppose he owns the fountain at Golden Gate Park.
My goto channel for memory screening. They do a great job. I never would have thought to post this but Dylan’s opening part is rad and the team was actually quite stacked for 2005.
Just doing my bi-annual rewatch of this classic. Still got the free version that came with Document somewhere.
Via the stuff @jimo posted in the yt thread, some creager radness
Not sure if these show all attempts but if they do then Stenne is really good. The curved noseblunt slide and Cardiel ledge tricks for example.
for reference
Franky Villani makes illegal tricks cool and almost gets away with coloured wheels. He is that special. This section is full of incredible shit and him skating to that Pet Shop Boys tune works really well.
Can’t remember last time I watched an XYZ video. Not for the faint hearted.
NSFW
BA Double Rock solo mish to Sabbath.
Watching him is such a gift.
I’ve never seen footage of him in the deca/world warehouse before. In an alternate timeline he would have headed up deca with daewon and the company would still be thriving today.
It should have been ‘Ronnie vs. daewon’
there was a park section in Deca’s 2nd To None vid set to ‘Wild Boys’ - Ronnie, MJ and Darwin jokingly smashing it
That was the first video I owned and watched religiously and I have no memory of Ronnie in that section at all.
Early morning viewing session in 5. 4. 3. (Silent) 2. 1.
I believe I’m going to die every time I get on an aeroplane and getting on one in about 7 hours so watching these very smooth moving men in the hope that their relaxed nonchalent steez will subconsciously permeate my being.
all 3 of these sections are such great examples of why someone can have a bit of tic tac or land less than perfect and looks so much more steez and dope than landing everything bolts.
Also Marcus switch push at 3:12 is so fucking confident and powerful. fucking looooooove it
May I offer you this to help?
Probably one of the dopest yet shortest rookie careers in skating
Tony Montgomery for City Skateboards
This channel has a lot of good parts uploaded
Mandatory viewing
Watching a totally random Norwegian DC x Oakley video from 2004 makes me realise how much a miss a tradional skate video these days.
Genuinely THE best
Can’t remember seeing this gershon part. Then again it was in a Logic…
The guy was a footage machine and a weapon. There are a few throw away clips in this but the backtail through the kink is sick.
