Yeah I’m not the biggest fan of Falling Down either but it does contain a lot of firsts (switch flip switch back tail Koston - nosewheelie nollie flip and ssbsts variation Mcnatt). Snuff is a million times better though and then as above New World Order set the standard for next few epoch-shifting Worls vids.
Rad. I’ve got loads of old photos from when the pros used to come to South Shields, over the years. I might dig them out one day.
please do! would love to see them
Here is a bad resolution one of mine. Henry Sanchez, inward heelflip. A short blonde haired Markovich and Kosick in this pic too. I’ll hunt them out and get them scanned better.
A heavy hit of nostalgia just showed up on my YouTube recommended videos. Haven’t watched this in over 20 years yet could still quote it.
Meanwhile was always featured really heavily in UK skate videos around this time, yet you never see footage from there anymore
Meanwhile was falling apart and sinking in various places when I lived in London in 2004/05… I dread to think what state it’s in now. Plus it was never very well designed in the first place.
It’s one of my favourites.
Does anyone remember the UK:VM videos. I think they did 4 of them in total. I dont think they have been out on youtube.
I think there were at least 8, iirc. I had a few.
Ahh I only had the first 4. Nice little snap shot of the uk scene at the time. I wanted to watch number 4 as it had a Franklin Stephens section and an article about the sessions at a leisure centre in stoke raising money for the plaza.
Edit. Looks like it was uploaded a month ago…
It looks like there were only four, oops.
