Still highly underrated in my view. I skated with him and Montoya in Sydney once and he did the nollie heel tail on a handrail. Fucking incredible.
It’s funny, I’ve watched this video so many times over the years and my favourite part changes all the time, but when I think back to when it first came out, the only thing I can remember being hyped on was Dill’s part. I think it hit so hard at the time that it just eclipsed the rest of the video to me. I think I may have even started to roll my trouser legs up mid part!
Sharing for no other reason than there was a guy on my work call this morning called Aaron Bleasdale.
Apols if ABP, had a look but couldnae find it. Went down memory lane this eve and looked up Lordz. Know there’s much love on here for TDGAFAU and I’ll have to watch that again soon, but I watched Conspiracy again tonight, still so good.
Had the video when I lived in Bordeaux in 2001, and it fuelled going to a local shop and getting a new Keenan set up and some Vans and skating most days for the next few months when I should have been studying.
Such a sick time of my life and in skating. Big up Lordz.
Good call. I haven’t watched Conspiracy since it came out. Watching now and Stephane Larance had some wicked flick and catch. Luy Pa also has a proper varial flip.
one of the backwards-hat greats

That switch ollie over the rail in the first line is so sick, it’s just 5 stairs but it feels like he’s flying (or levitating?) for 3 seconds. Awesome. Such a great line with the interaction with pedestrians too. Too much ill stuff in this, I can’t even remember what stood out. Maybe everything did. Fantastic ender, really gnarly but it’s not a stunt on a rail or down some stairs, so good.
he’s somehow floaty, precise and nonchalant all at the same time
