Brain Drain show

Watched most of it over past couple of nights. Spoke to him briefly on Snakes ramp not long ago for the first time since Derby Storm days where we’d see each few times a week probably. Always thought he was a really quiet dude.

Warman. Definitely not Passmore.

Interesting idea about reducing cost price for Decks and Soft Goods by licensing and printing it all over here rather than shipping from USA.

Is this already happening?

Been happening in various ways for years. Shiner made their own Powell Peralta decks in the early 80s and HLC have made branded decks for people too. Santa Cruz/NHS clothing was all made over here under licence. I’m sure there are other examples but can’t think right now.

I could see it working like the tiered football shirt model.

You can buy an authentic shirt with the same spec as the players wear, or a cheaper replica version that looks the same.

Especially for soft goods. Why ship a Thrasher hoody on a Gildan blank when you can just print it here.

Also way better for the environment!

Hardcore, the biggest distributor in Australia did that for clothing in the 80s for companies like Vision and Santa Cruz.

Why ship 1000 t shirts from the US when you could just ship the screens instead?

A friend of mine has somehow acquired some of their old screens and started doing replicas, which is why I own a Gonz split face long sleeve.

I feel like I remember seeing that pitchfork board in the background at one of the Blackpool death races. Gonna listen this evening :sunglasses:
