Casper - Cathedral Part

Don’t really see how southbank get tired before a ledge, a bank or a set of stairs can because it has all three.

Yeah where is that from?

Southbank is a constantly evolving space:
Bank to wall
Guard rail at the bottom of the little banks
Guard rail at the top of the big banks (twice in different positions)
The long wallride wall by mellow wheelchair ramp (Jensen wallie first trick in first line in LAF)
3 (maybe 4?) ledge set ups over the last 15 years.
White (later Yellow) hubba (rory back smith)
Concrete over the rocks (Brady Ollie up, front 180 over the stairs to bank)
Long ledge down wheelchair ramp where old wheel chair ramp was.
Reclamation of old space/new little banks and wooden beam

I’ve missed off so much shit that I can’t remember or am too young to know about.

Aside from the physical space constantly changing there’s a constant cycle of crews that changes every few years.

There’s so much current stuff that hasn’t been fully utilised yet.

Old Huck interview. It got deleted but was up for a while.
The old internet archive still has it in the original context.

No one’s done a big long 5050 on top of the bar yet have they? Axle stalls all day long but no 5050s or grind tricks

Gotta wonder what Brophy would be doing by now if he’d stayed and kept skating at the same level.

SB fell out of favour during the late 90s/ early 00s. 7 stairs wasn’t gonna cut it for the mosher drop massive.

the SEOU blocks went in 2004 ish?
then Karim and crew began the rejuvenation that has remained steady ever since

I want to see that too. Seems like a great way to hurt your bollocks.

Did you ever find the footage?
I feel like it was in one of P-Stones VHS videos…or an old Thrasher VHS. I know I’ve seen it a bunch.

Misc. Debris, maybe?

Half way through and there’s a skater called Brian Wilson, which is mildly entertaining.

There’s a Paul weller at my work who I presume must have been born around the time the jam were pretty big.

…and thats why I knew of the footage. I had the VHS of this. Sold it to @anonymity as part of a bulk load of tapes.

BA clip is at 7:14 in.
