Nice one man, me too. Had a couple of Peroni 0.0s today, tasty stuff. Be day 5 off it tomorrow and hopefully the fog will lift because still feeling it.
Best present was this aztec stone puzzle thing you have to disassemble then try to reassemble. I got my dad a book called the long walk about a Polish soldier who escaped along with others from a Soviet war camp. Looks really good and will borrow it from my dad when he’s finished. Got my brother some nice cheese and my mum a notebook with bird illustrations.
Gonna have another chilled Peroni zero and watch the remainder of this Netflix docu about the Florida gators. Don’t watch much NFL as a whole game takes like 3.5 hours but these docus in the Untold series such as Johnny football are really good. This one is swamp kings.
Nice one! Had a couple of Guinness 0’s, a Green Tea and might have a Ghost Ship 0.5 shortly. Feel good knowing I’m not gonna have a duff head in the morning
Never seen any G& S but can’t stand Corden so it just isn’t going on at all haha
Merry Christmas everyone! Feel like I put a shift in today. Just wanted to echo what @Brewer said [quote=“Brewer, post:121, topic:4629”]
I’m grateful for such a supportive group in a safe place

Joined this forum about a year ago mostly to have somewhere to moan about TJ Roger’s not getting SOTY but was never expecting to find a group of likeminded people like this all supporting each other through all sorts of highs and lows. Big up to you all.
Just had the most perfect Christmas day ever.
10 year old daughter didn’t wake up until 8am. I got a Hot Wheels set to play with. Went and climbed a rock climb called Christmas Crack with about 30-40 mates which included mulled wine (although I don’t drink), mince pies and someone playing Christmas songs on a Trumpet. Went to me mums for dinner so no washing up.
Went home and watched Gavin & Stacey. I like it, I can’t help it and I’m not afraid to admit it
Went to bed with a selection box and a new book.
A perfect day.
Ambivalent towards G&S. Objectively it’s shit, but my mawkishly nostalgic brain has associated it with memories of buying my first house and having my first kid. And I grew up in England but all my family both sides are from South Wales. So certain aspects were always highly relatable.
Merry Christmas all.
Feeling extra grateful of the privileged life I get to live this year.
Also feeling like like an unashamed wanker as I drink the in laws red wine (will quit first of jan, promise) and plan a skate trip in the new year via Google maps on my phone, while ignoring my non immediate family, for the most part.
Spent Christmas with friends for the first time. Recently split from my wife, don’t get on with my family particular well and used to spend a lot of time travelling to see hers.
Was lovely just to walk down the road and have a good roast, a few drinks and some board games. No drama, politics or stress!
Had a really good Xmas Day. Then this morning my wife caught my Mum saying on a Ring doorbell clip as she left something along the lines of what a dump our house is. Fucking world war 3 now.
