Kids dressing like they’re trying to run away from their bourgeois parents after getting a full goth kit at the Camden market. Black wheels and shove-it tail grabs are the icing on the cake.

SkateboardGB.
If I need to give an example that really offended me it was seeing a SkateboardGB ‘coach’ (I think that’s what they call them) instructing kids during a jam. A jam that should have been just pure fun and messing about. Really bad taste.

Instructing at a jam? How does that work.
Some of the SkateboardGB programme kids were at the jam. The skate coach guy turned up (he’s sound, I’ve known him since he was a little kid himself…he’s just maybe a bit clueless as to why other people might feel there’s a time and a place for this kind of thing) and started giving them training tips and little drills to practice at one side of the park while the jam was going on.
Obviously it didn’t hurt me or inconvenience me in any way whatsoever and I am a bitter old fuck who is always looking for reasons to hate organised sports involvement with skateboarding so take this with a pinch of salt
