This is really on point and I agree it’s behind the pace.
I never expected it to bring anything new other than being a bit of an pretentious, wank in the mirror piece though, which is exactly what I got.
But great point about trying to do something new and falling short of genuine skate video film makers that have innovated and pushed the boundaries of skateboard videos with their editing / artistic takes.

I’ve just edited my review, tidying up the grammer.
Now that I’ve written it down and re-read it, I feel completely empty to the video. I’m not angry or offended by it but it was such of a nothing that I’ve already lost the will to comment further, which is really quick, even by my fickle standards.
Jerry Hsu does the weird 3D stuff so much better with Sci-Fi Fantasy.

Intro felt like it was a video for Meshuggah doing a cover of barbie girl.
I’m only one section in. I actually don’t mind the effects, felt a bit like it was biting weirdcore a little though. Music was utterly pointless, i’d be miffed if I was the skater but maybe it was a diss to the skater because he didn’t produce the goods. Poor skating for the first part.
realises that it’s all the same music. not gonna bother with any more.
Oh, and who said it earlier that they wanted one step beyond style editing again? voila!

Started watching out of morbid curiosity and couldn’t be arsed to finish it. Touzeroy had some good clips. Rest was shit. The effects were really distracting. Music was shite too. Cor abare Koston.

I’m not sure it was different at all, if you take away the heavy glitches it’s an edit that could have been done 7-8 years ago when the vaporwave faze appeared. Lots of random graphics and skaters showing their pre and post trick gawps.
I didn’t finish it so I don’t what i’m talking about really.
