Also, what I find a rarity nowadays was the fact that a lot of the city footage at night was in completely deserted streets which I always think looks great on footy.

Thanks dude. A lot of the streets are deserted because some of this was filmed during the later lockdowns. It was pretty incredible to have the city to ourselves! That time was a bit of a boom time productivity-wise for a bunch of crews it seems.

It’s called ‘Badala Zamana’ and is by Zohra, an Algerian woman singing in a Berber dialect. It’s originally from 1977 but got rereleased a few years ago:
