I watched that doc, or gf did so i did. The most sensible person on there was one of E17 saying âafter touring non stop for 4 years i got home and i had no money, so i thought sod it, and went back to plasteringâ

Isnât that how âcredibleâ artists are treated by the music industry too? They own little of their own music, have to pay for the own videos, tours and promotion. Get dropped without a second thought the minute theyâre not selling. While the record label make all the money? Youâd have to pretty stupid to think that a manufactured career of cover versions and other writers/producers work would bring you riches and a lasting music career.
Exactly. Artists who make music because they want to make good music, and not because they want to be famous, get ripped off all day every day. So why should I give a shit about Clive the dancer from Ladzone, who is part of all that is wrong with music anyway?

The You Bet one? I remember it airing at the time and he was taking the piss but quite cringeworthy from what I can remember.
Oddly enough around that time he turned up at the end of year party at the holiday park where my parents had a static and had everyone pissing their pants laughing.
