I listened to most of this the other day. Certainly a weird set of events. My take is that the main cop witness fell asleep (it was the 5am shift) and had a very vivid dream. He may even have had a stroke or stress induced breakdown. As it says it was Yorkshire ripper time, he would have been under a lot of pressure and probably witnessed some disturbing stuff. The fact he remembered a black dog involved in the scene also points to it being a dream. Also it was the 70s, sci fi was everywhere. In days gone by people used to see goblins and fairies, post sci fi and itās aliens and ufos
The body on the coal heap with mysterious lack of coal dust could have been wrapped up until he was dumped. Nothing to suggest aliens imo

Yeah Iāve heard a few local stories locally of how it could have occurred & are in line with this - also that Godfrey would have been walking / driving past this (20m down the road from the police station) on his rounds over the years prior*
The possible KGB connection to the murder adds an extra dimension
But yeah an interesing story - he was at the next table last year when me & my mum went for a meal at Staff Of Life pub last year, further along Burnley Road from the incidentā¦

There used to be a āUFOā like that floating in the docks north of Birkenhead when I was a kid. Early to mid 80ās. Maybe a diving bell of some type. Used to get excited to see it when we drove past it on the dock roads when I went to the fair in New Brighton with my grandparents.
Got recommended this video and it.s rad. Having dabbled in the graffiti world as a youth and partial to watch videos of it, this one is really fresh even for non writers.
