Could drink it wearing a VR headest of a pub…
Someone will be trying it surely
I’d rather wear VR headset in the pub 90% of the time.
I’m enjoying the park beers, it’s nice and social and so much cheaper than the pub. People seem to be pretty good at tidying up after themselves here too.
Drove to get petrol this morning, so much KFC and Maccers rubbish everywhere.
I got a Maccers the other day, I like fastfood, and it absolutely fucked me over, first time in months. I don’t think I’ll have one again.
We had one the other day. Waited in the que wasn’t too bad. Made my 4 year old happy anyway. We’ve recently started getting gousto boxes because we can’t cook for shit. Other wise we stuck in a loop hole of eating the things mixed with takeaways
yep - same as.
Was looking forward to a big mac…never realised quite how fucking salty they were…unexpected outcome of C-19…wont be going back the golden arches anytime soon
It’s pretty standard in the rest of mainland Europe. Some countries are fully into their bottle deposit schemes which gives people a financial incentive to keep the place tidy. But yeah, park beers are always fun. Not looking forward to the mad circle jerk over how great pubs are when they reopen. Haven’t missed them at all, but to be fair, I don’t go to the indoors-only pubs at all in summer.
Just add chilli flakes, lemon and fresh garlic to pretty much anything when you stir fry it and it will work. Start from there!
There are deposits on plastic and glass bottles here, place is spotless. Homeless have a revenue stream too.
You owe me 4 bricks of weetabix you Michael Fabricant.
We’ve been getting them on and off for a while, although my wife is an amazing cook, and restarted a subscription when lockdown started, as it meant less trips to the shops, and not changing ideas when we found out that they’d run out of something at the shops.
They’re definitely a good way to learn to cook, and we sometimes just use the recipe cards and buy the ingredients now.
Just been into town absolute shit show. No social distancing, huge lines outside Sports Direct, TK Maxx etc. Last time I go there for a while.
That’ll save the economy!
Fuck going anywhere near town for a week or two, while everyone runs around like headless chickens, acting like they’ve never been to the shops before!
Agree with you, unless it is for food, I am going to avoid going into town to go shopping for as long as possible (the only exception I have made is B&Q, but you try moving house without visiting B&Q a few times).
Do you think people feel safer now, or do they just not care anymore?
As far as I am concerned nothing has changed, there is no track and trace, no vaccine, so I’m being super cautious.
I just rode through my high st, busier than Xmas, fuck all mask wearing. That R number is gonna be changing soon.
And half the people were probably screaming at the protests on TV about social distancing.
I think we’re just going to be battling little outbreaks of this from now on like we’ve seen in some other countries lately. It’s amazing how little coverage these get in the media though.
I’m just not sure where the desperation to go shopping is even really coming from, at least at Chistmas there’s an actual deadline to aim for. This is just shopping because you can.
Yeah, fuck all that.
I’m never desparate to go into town centres anyway, pandemic or not.
It’ll be a massive disappointment for people too. Or it should be.
It’s not like those shops will have anything dofferent to what they had for sale the day they closed. And I guess these are the kind of morons who aren’t able to figure out how to buy things on the Inter-Net too.
