Covid

If people refuse something that is helping a cause to save lives then priveleges should be taken away if they have potential for spreading. For their safety as much as others.

If true there has been 200,000 Omicron infections in one day, Boris Johnson is back on the TV to push boosters again tonight. People mustn’t be taking them up in the numbers needed?

Edit: Nicola Sturgeon has told people in Scotland to limit social mixing to three households in the run up to Christmas. The start of bubbles coming back in the UK.

Big skate party here Saturday night…seems like half the people who went have covid now! Vaccine passports or negative test proof on the door. Didn’t work.

On the bright side there’s still 10 days before Christmas so it shouldn’t ruin the big day

This whole vaccines doesn’t stop you catching and spreading the virus thing… isn’t that obvious? It doesn’t put up a Ready Brek glow around you that deflects particles off your face. The point is to attack the virus when it gets in no?

My son isn’t going anywhere near nursery now. I’m not going into work. I’ve got home deliveries booked. I’m hunkering down.

I’m. Having. A. Fucking. Christmas.

Well yeh I agree with the current policy of negative lateral flow tests before any large event. You’d have to be a ‘Brian’ to knowingly spread it if you had it. The thing with proof of vaccination is that you can still catch and transmit covid if you’re vaccinated so it’s not the same thing as a negative test. I mean if you look at the Omicron variant it must have been spread by those vaccinated unless people falsified negative tests (as far as I know you can only travel if you’ve been double vax’ed or have a negative PCR).

FTFY

Well yeah, obviously not. But unless Ive missed it somewhere I havent seen anywhere that asks for one or the other its always a negative test right?

Football matches were asking either or at the weekend.

It’s one or the other officially. NHS pass, or proof of negative test if you b̶e̶l̶i̶e̶v̶e̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶c̶h̶e̶m̶t̶r̶a̶i̶l̶s̶ are unvaccinated.

LOL I wonder who flagged that

I don’t get the flagging thing, you can still see it.

Can’t say the C word too. I feel for such a small online community, we are already on a google watch list or something? :grimacing:

Sorry for being naughty.

Who flagged it?
