Yeah didn’t mean to seem that I was jumping on you, was more that a lot of people have been jumping on its release to justify a very stringent ‘We should have never have had any form of lockdown’ angle.
Well they didn’t lockdown in Sweden and they had less deaths per 100,000 people than here. Go figure

As of Oct. 13, 2020, Sweden’s per capita death rate is 58.4 per 100,000 people, according to Johns Hopkins University data, 12th highest in the world (not including tiny Andorra and San Marino). You mean Sweden that country with fewer people that don’t live on top of each other like we do here?

Sweden was the only country not to have a lockdown and it didn’t do well. It had more deaths than some of its Scandi neighbours. It ended up 12th in the world for deaths.
BUT that means that 11 countries that DID lock down did worse.
Which to me backs up what that study says - strict lockdowns didn’t make much difference either way. And then when you factor in the extra deaths from undetected tumours, and all the other unintended consequences, and the school closures and people’s lives being put on hold.
It looks like we’ve all made a huge mistake.
Our lockdown was a joke.
It was - especially at the start when they wouldn’t even let people exercise outdoors. And skateparks closing. Police pouring dye into lakes to prevent swimming. It was shit

It was bad. But it turns out lockdowns were almost entirely useless
Useless in our country because many people couldn’t follow it. Why are we even discussing lockdowns they happened, feck all we can do about it now.
Vaccine helps. Take it if you want. Don’t if you feel pretty selfish.
I’m more worried about how the Tories are gunna fuck us all forever to pay for this. Especially when they are writing of Billions in fraud that we all have to pay for - let alone the PPE contracts.

Seems like it has for many, I made rare use of the train and tube last week and about 50% were without masks maybe more.
Was meant to go to London Friday, glad I was already ill and didn’t go.
Stuff like this always makes me laugh. Saw this one in a field in the middle of nowhere a few weeks back

It wasn’t dyed because of lockdown, you stupid paranoid old fart, it was dyed because the water was toxic and thick arseholes who don’t understand common sense (I see you) were swimming in it anyway.
