I have attempted a custom set-up which I honestly can’t get off of.
Deck - Heathen Peqoid (8.5)
Trucks- Paris v3 150mm with bones soft bushings road side.
Wheels - I change between ricta clouds 59mm 78a and Bones rough riders 56mm.
Both are really fun and smooth.
Bearings are either bones reds or militant. Both really smooth.
I also have a soft rubber riser pad (1/8) just to dampen vibrations.
This setup is not only great for carving and cruising but it’s like riding a twin fin if you loosen the back truck up a little. It’s just brilliant fun and the setup can turn on a dime.
