I kind of wanted one of the santa cruz turtle boards because it had the Parthers in Kryme cover on. which was my first ever single from woolworths. My older brother got Bat Dance by Prince.

I remember spotting it a couple years ago and when it was on over Christmas and thought it was a toy machine poster.
There was an interview in TransWorld where Ed T talked about it, and basically it’s someone else’s design but he got sued and changed it.
Googled it and found this on slap
not really equipment per say but if anyones after cheapo work pants these are what ive been running since october. found an ebay store that i assume got them in a liquidation sale or something as on the official website theyre £20 but the ebay store sells em for £6.50
pretty decent flat front fit (to me anyway), good waist etc. started skating in my first pair in october and they finally ripped on the knee after nosediving a nosemanual on a rough pad a few weeks back so id say they held up pretty good for the price.

I would say trousers were definitely equipment related. After coming back to skating I’ve noticed how hard it is to skate wearing jeans. My favourite trousers for skating are my work uniform trousers. Pretty much the same as what’s posted above ^^^

I skate in shorts a lot. Only time I skate in jeans is when i want to ensure people are aware I grew up in the 90s

I still rep that uniform most days. It’s just the best kit possible.
I have a pair of chinos but I always skate in jeans. Even when it’s hot as fuck like it’s been here recently.
I used to be well JT and skate in shorts with no socks back when I was a kid. I can’t skate in shorts these days. I haven’t tried to do that in 10 or 15 years I think.
in the winter i’ll be in the uniform. i get too sweaty in the summer and it’s horrible. no socks though? UGH gross gross gross, didn’t your shoes squelch??

I will skate in shorts if it’s really hot, although when I do my shins seem to develop a magnetic quality with my board. Have to refrain from trying flip tricks.
Another shorts and no (show) socks advocate here. I’m not going to let that sunshine go to waste when I could be getting a tan.
