Shoes too! Might as well get socks, pants, shirt and shorts to go with them.

Got Christmas Day goosebumps seeing that.

New shoes and new board is basically a prison-wank.

This reminded me of when I used to skate Vindys

Two solo skates with new shoes on an old board, then you set up the fresh board.

Surely you have a few skates with old shoes on the new board.

Both. My old setup is also skated twice though :joy:

If they’re too loose, try hard Bones bushings. I’m the same as your and can’t skate loose trucks at all, but can’t be dealing with ticktackng every time either. It seems to work for me anyway.

Thanks I’ll give that a go. I don’t think ive ever ridden anything other than stock bushings, I’ve definitely never changed bushings on trucks before

My one worry about the Lurpivs was the high kingpin, with less grind clearance than some other trucks, but now that I’ve used them it’s not a problem

Had 2 skates with Ace AF1 pivot cups in my 149 Hollows that had a pivot issue. The new pivot cups do solve 98% of the problem and do feel better. Try that if you have similar issues with your Indys.

Decided to pre-empt the trend of smaller boards and planning to setup a new 8.5 board.

Ordered some Slappy lights as a first step.
