i honestly thought my back truck would be the one to go first since it’s cracked and down to the axle, shifted by board earlier and seen a crack on the front truck had got bigger, then blinked and it shrunk so i had a look.

never seen anything like it.

Good effort!

i genuinely thought the back would’ve went first:

guess doing wallies 24/7 caused some damage to the front lmao, just gonna keep skating them and see what happens.

If you ever had the pleasure of skating Tracker Street Tracks you can enjoy cracked hangers without having to do anything remotely aggressive on a skateboard.

And they still didn’t turn

Ha! Or those plastic baseplate Trackers that cracked if you tried to turn on them in any location cooler than California.

closest thing i ever had to a plastic truck was those tensors with the “slide plates” that inevitably popped out and got lost.

Cracked an Ace truck hanger yesterday. Barely ground down, fuck knows how it happened. Doesn’t matter though, as now I’m gnarly.

The death deck has a lovely shape but 7.75" deck is almost an inch shorter than my toy machine deck of the same width. Madness. Good thing im a short arse

I thought so too until I weighed myself.

just a thought but an alternative to using risers for reducing wheelbite massively is to wax your board a bit where the wheels bite, it really helps you roll out of things.

Yeah I’m sure that works but I’ve been skating with risers since EE3 came out and I can’t see why I’d fix something that’s not broken.

You never get a random urge to try something different for no reason whatsoever?

Yeah all the time when I visit breweries.

so i’m trying to sort out some old trucks for spares, need to replace the kingpin. it has occured to me that in 25 years of skateboarding i’ve never managed to get the kingpin out of a truck

how the fuck do you do it?

MC Hammer

My hammer is going to break before the pin comes out, it’s not budging

leave it on two bricks over a tealight for a bit first

Wd40.
Sit overnight
Place on 2 bricks
Smash until elbow shatters

Was this in a sidewalk or document “how to” years ago?
