Disagree. Based on that match I donât think England have anything to fear from Spain or Italy. As much as I dislike Garethâs style, he has made us incredibly difficult to score against and weâve started making good chances

Sorry but Italy played thrilling football at times. Englandâs first goal against Ukraine aside, we just donât play football like that. Austria game was a blip. Theyâve looked imperious otherwise.
Donât agree that England or Denmark would stand no chance but I do agree that Italy have played some lovely football at times and Iâve noticed people in general are very reluctant to give them much credit for it.

As someone who wouldnât exactly be devastated if Denmark win tonight, to say England have no chance is guff.
All 3 teams have a chance.
Theyâre all professional footballers and itâs just 2 one off knockout games.
There a lot of super short term variance to ride out.
Yeah if they played each other in a monte carlo simulation Italy would win like 55% of the time, England 35% and Denmark 10% but thatâs if they payed this out 10,000 times.
As Chris Waddle says you just have to hope your opponents miss theyâre chances and you bury yours. Easy game when you boil it down.

The way England played when going 1-0 up against Croatia was a reminder that we can fall back into the bad old ways if not careful. Hopefully weâve learnt our lesson and I am wrong, but we will struggle against Italy I feel.
Also Denmark beat England in October last year at Wembley.
