The time and space England are getting is shocking.
I’m noting Italy’s verticality and their ability to ride out challenges quote easily whilst 1-0 down. Interesting.
Don’t forget Italy got to the final ‘the hard way’ so of course they are going to have chances.

I was thinking earlier about the 2010 World Cup and how all England’s hopes were hanging on wether Gareth Barry would make it back from an injury in time. Weird times

If that half was worth 4 mins added on they should by rights still be playing the Italy Belgium game. That would’ve been about 20 to 30 hours extra.

England’s defensive positioning is smothering Italy. They’re cutting out any passing lines. There’s no point swinging it in either as Italys forwards are relatively small compared with Walker, Stones and and Harry
Not sure how Italy are going to find a goal but they’re going to need to add another attacking midfielder like Pessina to create space.
More importantly, these are fucking amazing. Not sure why I’ve never had them before.
