Luckily I was on Dad duty and was at the Birmingham Science Museum all afternoon so missed the Villa Newcastle game. Sounds like we were dog shit.
Mad how we struggled against Leeds and scraped a 3-3 draw midweek and then Everton turn them over piece of piss!
It’s a funny old game.

Tbf to Leeds their entire game is about running and fitness. That amazing Villa/Leeds match clearly exhausted both teams. I think it’s one of the main criticisms levelled at Bielsa that his tactics are so reliant on energy yet he doesn’t rotate (they started the same team against Everton that played us).
I don’t hate Leeds thaaaat much but I can’t see them doing well if Bielsa is going to remain stubborn. I get they have injury woes (who doesn’t) but you gotta change things up

I dunno a week ago people on BBC live feed were bitching about the lack of drama and competition in the PL now the title, top 4 and relegation spots are getting interesting. Liverpool have a game in hand and play City shortly

Oh I’m only bitter as an Everton fan haha. It’s hard to see Liverpool be so good these days. Definitely a good result for the neutral.
