Trip injured is a worry though…
He’ll be ok
Left on crutches! Fingers crossed.
Luckily I was on Dad duty and was at the Birmingham Science Museum all afternoon so missed the Villa Newcastle game. Sounds like we were dog shit.
Mad how we struggled against Leeds and scraped a 3-3 draw midweek and then Everton turn them over piece of piss!
It’s a funny old game.
I’m going to the Villa on Saturday. Hopefully Stevie sorts it out and we show up!
Fuck, Trip has broken his metatarsal.
Tbf to Leeds their entire game is about running and fitness. That amazing Villa/Leeds match clearly exhausted both teams. I think it’s one of the main criticisms levelled at Bielsa that his tactics are so reliant on energy yet he doesn’t rotate (they started the same team against Everton that played us).
I don’t hate Leeds thaaaat much but I can’t see them doing well if Bielsa is going to remain stubborn. I get they have injury woes (who doesn’t) but you gotta change things up
Very, very good:
Seems like Burnley got themselves an absolute bargain in Weghorst.
He looks a handful eh!
I’ll take a point away at West Ham, haven’t lost in 2022 so can’t complain even with more injuries!
Hope this is true.
Such a good match this. Real winners are Liverpool though unfortunately.
I dunno a week ago people on BBC live feed were bitching about the lack of drama and competition in the PL now the title, top 4 and relegation spots are getting interesting. Liverpool have a game in hand and play City shortly
Plus Spurs of all teams? When did City last concede two let alone three?
Oh I’m only bitter as an Everton fan haha. It’s hard to see Liverpool be so good these days. Definitely a good result for the neutral.
Maybe against RB Leipzig? Won 6-3 at the Empty Hat, then lost 2-1 in Germany.
We are staying up we are staying up @Bish
@anon11081575
You going?
Seems a bit indecent for a “family atmosphere” but the immature side of me cannot wait for the EFL Show that particular weekend.
Where did you take him?
Bit soon for that haha! Massive result last week though!
Brighton next!
