They’ve been pretty poor in most of their games though imo. Be nice if they stayed up but Lampard is a bang average manager as well. Got some good players so who knows.

Yes he is. However, after manager after manager after manager I’m at a point where I think that it can’t really be the managers fault anymore. We’ve been through so many over the years and spent shit loads of money on utter tripe. Might as well give Lampard time, get relegated and try to start again. Fuck it.

He wasn’t our worst manager by a long shot but was seemed massively out of his depth with the Toon side in the premiership.
Just looking how good Joelinton and Almiron are with Howe in shows that the weren’t managed to their potential. Especially Joelinton, moving him from number 9 to midfield has transformed him.
