In that case there’s absolutely no hope for them.

Ashley Young though – how is he still a United player.

Because he actually gives a shit. He was one of the few United players who actually hounded the opposition team. Crossing was awful mind.

For me Ashley Young did really well to adapt himself into a wing back in the first place, now they’re almost expecting him to be some kind of reliable veteran in that position, which is completely unreasonable. He still has the dead ball skills and yet they’ve had Rashford taking a lot of the free kicks lately and scoring none of them, the managerial decision making there is truly abysmal.

Young is an odd player. Loved him when he was with us (villa), but for a winger he is only capable of one good cross per game. Rarely manages to beat the first man on corners too

Smalling isn’t that bad. Can put in immense performances

Jones’ only redeeming feature is the expressions his weird face make

How on earth has Pogba made PFA team of the year?

So many other players missing and he gets in. De Bruyne, Hazard, Son, Salah and without meaning to sound bias, Moutinho, Neves and Doherty could of been in with a shout.

I don’t really agree with Aguero or Fernandinho to be honest as I think there are better options in the list I put above, but they still deserve to be in there way more than Pogba.

Those team of the year things are always rubbish. It’s clickbait I swear, always some massively shit choices

De Bruyne out for most of the season. Hazard on and off.

Mourinho can agree with! I watched a lot of City this season. Look at Aguero’s stats mate. Smashed it again.

Can’t believe Pogba made it over Son.

I said sack the team not the manager when it was Mourinho at United, I’m glad Solskjaer is now getting the chance to see things need to change and not a manager coming in, in summer thinking it’ll be fine and again too late to do anything by the time the season starts.
Hopefuly in for some big changes, Pogba can go first.

Nah Mourinho lost it years ago. Training real madrid not to play football but to beat Barcelona seems to have broken him

Something is rotten in the state of Denmark when is comes to the dressing room and managers at the moment with United. Thats why I said sack the team not the manager, take it back. Like Roy Keane said “I don’t believe a word that comes out of Pogba’s mouth”

The thing is though, the same Utd team played well for the first 10 games or so that Solskjaer was in charge. Now, suddenly, they’re abysmal. The same team overhauled PSG, so what’s going on with them?

Keane isn’t the greatest of managers, but I love how brutally dour and honest he is as a pundit.

It almost seems like when Solskjaer came, the team went ‘We’ll show the world it was Mourinho that was the problem, not us’ … and everyone bought it. Now 10 games later, they can’t be arsed again, and people are starting to think ‘Nah, maybe it was you guys after all’

Another thing to note about that game was that Pogba didn’t play, one of their best games against a top side without their 90million man. Apparently Pogba is in that team of the year because of the goals he’s scored from midfield but half of them are penalties…

Also Utd didn’t actually play that well against PSG. There was a huge amount of luck and were given a penalty that was 100% not a penalty.

How Pogba is in that player of the year team over Hazard or Son is absolutely mad. When he is good, he can be very good but that’s only about five games a year. When he is bad, he is just fucking woeful.

Anybody see the Leeds v Villa game? Couldn’t believe what I was seeing happen! Credit to Marcelo Bielsa for handling it well.

As a life long villa fan, big up to Bielsa for being classy when your players are being scum. We’ll get that red card thrown out as well

Didn’t watch it but Leeds were fighting for promotion, now handed to Sheff United.

If the ref didn’t whistle to stop play when the player went down, then you can carry on play (teams carry on play when their own player is down a lot of the time), it might not be the gentlemanly thing to do but it’s not against the rules, like I said I didn’t watch it though. So there must of been more to it than that?

Edit: Seen it now, Leeds stop, slow down as if they are going to let the player get seen too but don’t kick the ball out of play, then when everyone takes their eye off the ball, quickly start play again, bad forum but again not against the rules. Conch trick.

Yeah not against the rules at all, they had a player down five minutes earlier and we did the fair thing and kicked it out even though we were attacking.

In the fight afterwards one of their players went down like he’d been elbowed in the face and got el ghazi sent off - replay showed no contact

Playoffs against them are going to be interesting

Yeah, not good sportsmanship at all, you should be able to over turn the red card as there was no contact with Bamford to his face at all. If anything he was all over the Villa player. Everyone will be watching that play off now, haha.
