Him and Eze have raised their game this season. Don’t think anybody’s noticed Zaha left.

That ‘foul’ on Henderson was a bit of a joke. Barely touched him.

No European football should mean there is no way back for him now. Plus the eventual upcoming FA Cup loss. New (part) owner Ratcliffe will want the club to win something soon and actually seems to take an interest in the day to day stuff. Than the Glazers who just like watching the money roll in, trophies or not.

United job is so cursed. Hard to think of a single person who will be able to go in and take control of all of the egos. Zidane maybe.

Wharton has been quite the signing. I wonder if Arsenal might fancy signing Olise.

Moyes is available!

I still find it hilarious how publicly they stated that they’d be giving Moyes time at United and then they didn’t :+1:

Technically still in the job. Just technically though.

Haha, how many times do clubs say they’re backing a manager while plotting their oust? Not just a United thing. Look at what’s happening to him at the moment. He has still got games to play and all the club want to do is talk about the new manager.

Be good if he changed his mind and played for England!

I watched the whole first half and didn’t even realise Antony was playing :joy:

This. Hadn’t even thought of it, considering what a talisman he was for them - mad.

You’ll get something right? We still have to play you and we’ll lose no doubt

United is a weird club.

Clearly something not right within as no one is pulling in the same direction, sure it will be different after the summer if the takeover does anything.

Or did they have January?

They don’t really have a specific style of play any more, it’s just muddling through these days. The fans obviously want them to be back on top again but with how much money City have spent and with Pep at the wheel I don’t see how it’ll happen any time soon, well, unless FFP fines or points deductions happen anyway.

Don’t really get this because United have spent just as much (if not more) over the last decade. Just a poorly managed club that make bad recruitment decisions. Pretty much Everton x 100 :joy:

But City can afford to offload people who don’t work out in a flash, United haven’t been able to do that.

Yeah that’s fair!

next season has the potential to be really interesting*. unless something drastic changes at some of the old “big clubs” i don’t see spurs or united being that competitive for the top four. chelsea are the only one of the underperforming big clubs who seem to have put together a decent finish and that’s only been the past few weeks it seems

fuck knows what liverpool are going to be like next year

  • hoping that city finally get punished and don’t walk the league etc etc

Who hadn’t worked out though with City?
