I don’t doubt that against a more attacking opponent this same lineup might run riot but doesn’t that just show that he picked the wrong team? Bellingham is sick but he looks so uninterested at the moment and I don’t blame him.

Why is Southgate cautious about ‘blooding in’ the young players like Palmer?

When he first started as manager, one of the good things Southgate did was trust young players like Saka. Young players give the time some verve and energy.
