Spain deserved that. They were the form team for the tournament, played the best football, won all their games, beat the hardest teams and crucially better on the day today.
Good performance by a somewhat limited England though - a lot of subs didn’t get enough game time like Gordon, TAA, Watkins and Toney. Unrealised potential I guess
Really enjoyable match though - first half was so-so, but both teams cam out guns blazing for the second half,

I agree and Grealish should’ve come.
I’d be up for less automatic Harry Kane selection (to avoid doing a Portugal Ronaldo situation) and at least try Watkins and or Toney for more of the game.

England didn’t deserve to win but, but when they equalised they had the players on the pitch to win. They just needed to be bolder but they got pushed back again deeper and deeper by a very good Spain side. Another opportunity missed in a Euros final.
