Hate that Arteta consoled Trossard like he did nothing wrong. He kicked the ball away when he knew he shouldnât. Arteta should be fuming with him not hugging him.
Especially after Rice did it two games ago!
Discipline has never been Arsenalâs strong suit though.

The problem is as always inconsistency, referees usually give yellow cards for kicking the ball away, surrounding the ref etc etc but not always

Kicking the ball away with force is the easiest yellow card for a referee to give, other than a cynical foul to stop a break. Absolutely no point risking it if youâve already had a booking.

Yep, infuriating. In both cases there have been incidents against Arsenal that they have turned a blind eye to, before deciding the rule applies for Arsenal players.
Especially when Michael Oliver (todays ref) didnât give Kovacic a second yellow a few years ago against us after 2 borderline straight red challenges and his justification was âhe didnât want to negatively effect the gameâ

Yeah the commentators mentioned that. Doesnât surprise me City getting things their way in general but donât give the referees a chance to be bent
