Big Joe and Bruno have been shocking at the start of the season, glad it looks like they’re coming back into form. You can forgive the needless fouls if they play well but before this weekend it was just fouls and awful passes.
Should have binned Wilson off in the summer but I don’t think he would leave (I like him, but needs shifting like Maxi), same with Miggy - its a big (in terms of distance) moving to the Toon and they are settled, with contracts so I understand.
Wilson needs replacing, we have that Osula kid, fuck knows why we bought him as a ‘3rd’ striker.

That new DoF Mitchell and Howe clearly don’t get on, Amanda leaving and Palace just wasting our time over Guehi was a joke. When they rejected 60million why did we keep chasing? Also new keeper. I love Nick Pope but fuck me he looks a liability at the moment. We and the rest of our Keepers are fucking weird apart from Dubs. Jon Ruddy, Gillespie and that keeper we bought for 20 million from Forrest that probably won’t ever get a game.
I can forgive Bruno, he carried us in Jan 2022 till the end of that season. Tonali coming back in is going to be great.

How long have you had Duran?
we signed him last January window from the MLS i think. he was used as a sub here and there and started a few matches when Ollie was injured. he scored some useful goals but it wasn’t like this.
as Emi said in the post match yesterday, Duran came back from the summer with a whole new determination

He joined January '23 from Chicago in the MLS aged 19.
He was a bit petulant last season, got too big for his boots and tried to force a transfer. West Ham offered £40M, but Villa turned it down (thank fuck!). Doesn’t help his agent is his mad Uncle.
He’s come back this season with his head screwed on and is absolutely bossing it! Mad he’s only 20 years old.
