Me too, and I’m actually in two minds about it. For one, it’s a soft challenge, based on the “contact” alone it should never be a red. On the other hand, I’d like to see these sorts of challenges punished more harshly because no matter how you dress it up as “taking one for the team” or a “tactical foul” it’s a deliberate breach of the rules. It’s cheating, and should be punished as such. If they’re doing that though, they need to be consistent with it and not just willy nilly.

100% my opinion, this was my opinion last year when blue cards were mooted about.
Just don’t want to see it applied selectively half way through the season.

Miggy always tried hard and the UCL season scored against PSG, had a purple patch the season before.
