Striiiiker
yeah ridiculous free kick
thought liverpool were unlucky to not get one tbf, shame salah has absolutely zero right foot really
They got lucky at the end though. Normally Barca would have been more clinical with those two counter attacks.
Got home just in time to see the free kick, ooof.
Not an excuse though. That Mane miss as well, not good.
Some of the Barcelona defending was top notch, really impressed with Ter Stegen as well. The Suarez goal was classy as well.
The pass for the Suarez goal. Made VVD and Matip look super regs.
Good match last night despite the loss. Shame that even with this powerful team right now that LFC wonât win any silverware this season - so it goes when youâre up against Messi at his best.
He has been a joke this season, got to be on close to 10 goals from direct FKs this season.
As good as Messi was, I donât think Liverpool are without blame, for the one that came off the bar where was the marking? They shouldâve come away with a goal with that many chances as well, Messi was not a factor in those.
yeah van dijk switched off there massively
Itâs been a fantastic season in the PL this year. The race for top four coming down to the penultimate game, the race for 7th the same (could still go to last game of the seasonâŠ) the title race looking like it will go to the last day. Unreal.
The big thing now is the difference in âlevelâ between Liverpool and City compared to the rest of the âbig sixâ. The gap in quality is massive. United and Arsenal look like they need to rip it up and start again, Chelsea are now in the potential spending ban predicament and Tottenham just need to spend some money this summer. At this point I canât see anyone being near Liverpool or City again next year.
Well, you say âraceâ but it seems to me like most of the time, the teams canât be arsed, donât fancy the midweek city breaks to Turin, MĂ»nchen, Barcelona, Paris, Amsterdam, Lyon, etc. and keep on losing, hoping instead for draining journeys to Baku, Yekaterinaberg, Nicosia, Tblisi, etc.
I had them for a draw too.
Any real hick ups in the title race could happen now, Leicester could throw a spanner in the works tonight for City but youâd expect them to win against Brighton on Sunday. Wolves could pull something off against Liverpool on the last day too. Theyâve done well against the bigger teams this season and Liverpool have Barcelona on Tuesday too, do they go out all guns blazing or know theyâre probably out of the CL and not risk players for Sunday?
If City win tonight youâd have to say the title is more than likely theirs.
I donât have any sports subscriptions but do have Now TV account.
For the first time ever, I have activated SKY sports pass to watch the match.
Itâs going to be a tough one I reckon.
KompanyâŠwhat a fucking goal!!!
what an absolute fucking belter
Leicester played that game as though they would have been happy to ruin Man Cityâs season.
That goal though, wow, coming from one of the teamâs least expected goal scorers, shows how good that team is.
Leicester were there to spoil the party, haha.
Phew it took something special in the end. City have one hand on the trophy.
