Son leaving Spurs will certainly weaken them a fair bit. On the one hand it feels a bit early to make a move to the MLS but with how many games he’s played and all the running he must’ve done maybe he needs a rest.
He won the Europa league last season, so I guess he feels like job done, silverware in the cabinet (finally) and he can now go and take it easy in the sun and count the cash.
Seems like it’ll be a full on bidding war for Sesko, does that mean he ends up at Chelsea?
Probably - the Toon won’t be mugged off and if he wants cash he will pick Man United and ultimately not really develop.
Isak was hardly profile until Eddie Howe, Jacob Murphy different player now.
Not to bang the fucking Man United are fucked drum but Cunha and Mbemo ain’t gunna help much that place is fucked and I really don’t understand how they can afford to spend £80million on Sesko with wages they are paying already?
Very hyped we managed to sign Dewsbury-Hall
Should be good for him too, escaping the Drinkwater career arc…
Sesko deal agreed in principle with United.
What a shit window
can’t believe it’s basically been three months since the end of the league but thank god it’s back soon.
poor toon. howe will see you right though I reckon
Great to get stuffed first game of the season
Strong talk of Baleba and Donnarumma coming.
Personal terms already agreed with Baleba apparently. Just got to sort out the asking price.
Go on Palace
Very surprised by this decision:
Hugely unfair - Palace would not have foreseen themselves winning the FA Cup back in March and there was plenty of time after they did to rectify the ownership issue.
Was just coming to post this. Disgusting decision when you consider the monopoly on football.
Well I’m glad they’re out bc Palace are our bogey team!
Seems like a bit of a cluster fuck from the owner from what little I know.
Surely someone at the club should have foreseen this situation coming down the road as Palace progressed in the FA Cup.
Common sense and modern football aren’t compatible.
The difference is other owners are smart about it. Blind Trusts etc
Exactly, unfortunately.
I don’t expect anyone at Palace expected to win the Fa Cup and I think it was still the Semi’s when the MCO deadline passed.
I heard on one of the podcasts I listen to (Guardian I think) that the powers that be at Palace gave UEFA their generic info@palace email address for official correspondence and missed several reminders from UEFA about the potential ownership problem.
As if Grealish looks like he’s coming to us. Mad that
