Egypt are handy af
The Egypt miss was comical, open net and he managed to kicked it out for a throw in. Lukaku’s header into row z was pretty terrible too. There is a reason Liverpool were fine with Salah terminating his contract a year early, to leave on a free this summer. His drop off has been incredible.
Another draw, three today… Uruguay looked decent if they could finish. Saudi goalkeeper get them in it (most saves in the WC so far). Everyone in their group on one point a piece now.

Cape Verde being the main ones today.
Their CH, Pico Lopes, was born and raised in Dublin, playing at a high local level with Shamrock Rovers and gets picked for the CV national team via Linkedin. Radness.

Read online that Pico Lopes ignored a previous LinkedIn message from the Cape Verde FA because it was written in Portuguese.
A year later they reached out to him again, this time in English - he replied and the rest is history!

That’s it, great story for a lad from Crumlin.
Looked like they were on to him at first but then they misread the flight of the ball and he then followed it up with a perfect touch. Two assists for him last night and I doubt they’ll be the last in this tournament.
I thought their second goal was even better than that. Beautiful passing.
