General Election '24

Yeah, Reform would target everyone, I would hope that labour or whoever would actually look into thngs deeper.
Not all barber shops are fronts, i’m pretty sure of that. My ex takes my kids to one and the guy there is really nice and all the staff are trained. They have over time changed the signage and upgraded which alludes to making money legitimately. There are some that turn up in prime rental locations and spend 3-5k on illuminated signage and don’t seem to be turning the business over. Same as some carwashes.
Like I said, it’s complex and a system needs to be in place to let good people from anywhere thrive anywhere and less chance for others to bring nefarious business to areas.

What are you suggesting Voodoo?

I have no idea why but amongst my usual YT algorithm of J O brien, novara and politics Joe, the past few days have shown Farage’s ugly mug everywhere.
That’s an exeggeration, my feed is full of pool matches lately but you get the point.

to me the only way of actually improving the “small boats across the channel” stuff is by moving back closer with the EU (you know, our actual neighbours) and working with the other countries in Europe to fairly and humanely help settle people. otherwise all your doing is making different hurdles for genuine refugees to get across and ultimately become more vulnerable to organised crime

so far it’s really really loud how silent everyone is on brexit and it fucks me off. if Keir stood up tomorrow and said he’d move us closer to EU he’d gain more votes than he’d lose and i’d bank my house on that

Nothing. Just asked about Reforms policies as I honestly didn’t know and you seem too, then you said Labour are too scared to talk about theirs. Which I replied isn’t accurate. I’m not sure what I’ve done wrong here, haha?

You know pal! ha
Anyway, just because I hadn’t seen Keir’s plans to tackle a point I made about reform doesn’t mean it’s my main concern personally and i’m a blanket racist, I just see alot of it and it’s very current because of reform.
I’d like Labour to shout about tackling that in the correct way to drown out reform tackling with it in the wrong way to stop voters migrating to reform for that reason. Reform have no place in real politics, it’s local pub bar politics.
If labour made more of a deal about it then maybe people like Jimo et al would know what labour stand for more. At the moment people don’t know and if we have to dig in to find their ideas then they are failing.
I’m just not sure Keir is right but if labour get in i’d hope we get someone else taking the reigns at some point.
Or Corbyn randomly finds a party from knowhere ha.
I’m really unsure where my vote goes, I need to look into green and lib dems more and do some weighing but whoever needs it to destroy the Tories and give reform the smallest vote then i’ll do that.

Regardless of their weak/lite status. I’ll be voting for them as we’ve had 14 years of shit.

I’m hoping after this election we might see the greens and lib Dems make more of an impact.

I just feel like Reform are going to do as much business as UKIP did. Really not that much. So Tory inclined voters will just vote Tory.
Everyone running around saying vote for anyone else but Labour to get the Tories out just seems a bit crazy to me. It honestly won’t do anything at this point in time imo but help the Tories. It’s starting look like Starmer might lose a lot of floating voters at this rate too.

Oh well 20 years of Tories it is.

The stress, haha.

Reform will just end up selling out to the Tories in the end won’t they?

Here’s the latest, as at 3rd June:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-68079726

  • Labour 45%
  • Conservative 24%
  • Reform 12%
  • LibDem 9%
  • Green 5%

This was the day before Farage hit the headlines with the milkshake

I have voted for the Green Party (locally) in the past but they literally stand for nothing now. Foreign policy alone (or lack there of) makes them Count Binface level for me.
We need a legitimate, politically savvy pro environmental party and I’m afraid The Green Party are not it.

He definitely paid for that to happen.
No way it was coincidental.

I might sign up to her OnlyFans. Purely to help pay for her legal fees of course!

The deal was probably made on onlyfans “I know a girl that’ll do it Nige”

A YouGov poll published this afternoon shows Reform really hurting the Tories - it has them up to 17% now, just 2 points behind the Tories, who are down to 19%

I hope my daughter never ends up like this :pensive:

Still hoping she gets into skating, especially how rad the girls scene is now, but that cant be forced. Needs to claim that discovery herself.

Rishi Sunak dodging National Service.

What an idiot.
