General Election '24

Thing is how does anyone fix this shit?

Guess I’m voting Lib Dem don’t really want to, rather spoil my ballot, don’t particularly think anyone is ‘the answer’.

Wouldn’t it be nice if the Lib Dems became the opposition in parliament, relegate tories to third place and we wouldn’t have to listen to their waffle every wednesday about how they did so well after covid whenever they were asked a question

As dignified as ever to the bitter, bitter end.

Had them waving me off to work the last 3 mornings with their placards at the roadside.

Nothing more patronising as I commute through 4 constituencies after Liz Truss torpedoed mortgage rates and put an end to me moving nearer.

It Woz The Sun Wot Won It! FFS.

It’s funny that they have turned on their whole readership over night just to save their face. It must be funny binning your paper one night in the recycling as a Tory rag, then buying the next days edition and it’s suddenly Labour. At least The Mirror say (while a tabloid red top still), has stuck with Labour through all the shite in the last 14 years and not just chased whoever was popular this election.

Wouldn’t that be worse for the Tories than Labour if anything? Split their vote even more?

Spotted in Manchester this morning

Yeah but even if it helps the Tories get wiped out the rise of the far right doesn’t really feel like something to celebrate. It sets the scene for the next election to be fought between centre left and far right, same as France right now, and the far right will likely win.

I sincerely hope not

Reform is expected to get 13 seats. I’m not too worried just yet.

On no! Surrendering our “Brexit Freedoms”

Just voted Lib Dem, very tight round here

Do you mean 3? Only Farage is nailed on as far as I’ve heard. 13 seems like a lot for them.
