Primitive need an actual (or better) art director. Arguably the best team in skateboarding and it looks like a company you’d find in Toys r Us.

The most telling part is when Paul says he’s the owner but doesn’t even know what product is being made until it arrives at his door. Also, saying it’s like he’s sponsored by the brand. I can’t help but feel he’s being played for a mug by whoever his business partners are. I wouldn’t expect him to be fully hands on with the business but at least half in the office half in the streets (park).
I can only imagine they’re having a weekend crisis meeting over brunch right now and Paul is probably thinking about trying to fix the shit situation he’s in. Or not.

Jerry is really hooking up the right sort of skater that people like to see. Conor is now getting shit as well as Matt Militano and I saw that Frankie Heck got a Sci-Fi package the other day. The team really is fantastic.

Gifted hater isn’t always on point with thorough research of wide opinion in order to do a full takedown of something and gets factually mixed up sometimes but this is one is a grenade popped into the bunker of self unaware money jocks.
I really hope P Rod wises up a little but there is no hope for Mikey Taylor, he’ll just keep saying everyone else is wrong, never him.

I imagine if PRod sees this video there’s a possibility that aspects of it might actually hit home as he just seems clueless and lost, repeating empty business bro bollocks he’s heard here and there with little to no understanding of what he’s saying, but I do think there’s still a glimmer of humanity left in him. Mikey Taylor, the dead eyed, horse faced twat, on the other hand, won’t get it or give a fuck as he’s a shell of a human and has gone full Gollum, there’s no Sméagol left in there.

It’s like we’ve glimpsed behind the curtain now that we know Prod is really just the face of Primitive and doesn’t actually have any role day to day. Not that I ever presumed he had some burning creative desire, but I at least presumed he was driven to create a home for the best of the best. Now it just feels like it was solely a business decision.
I’m not surprised he’s been having a midlife crisis recently if he’s no longer the best on the team, nor the CEO, nor the creative director, nor the brains…
