Not being funny but those Powell Dragons - I been skating an indoor park for 2-3 months, not once have I had to clean my wheels (when before I was having to do it every other run). I think they’re so soft as they flex the gunk/wax just falls off.

It’s the same with Spitfire f4 97s if you fancy a slightly harder wheel. One of the benefits I always point out if someone’s thinking of getting them!

Really finding it hard to skate in the cold! I feel so stiff and old.
Forced a skate out this morning, filmed other people mostly but stuck the camera on while we had a little hip sesh at the end. Can’t wait until it’s warm and I can do these a bit smoother.

Dude don’t moan I skated in -7 two weeks ago, thermal pants, jeans, tee, thermal hoodie, coat, scarf, woolly hat, gloves.
There’s no such thing as bad weather just bad clothing!

Nah I change shoes when I get to the park and make sure the shoes are room temp beforehand. Otherwise the snow and ice on the floor walking there does completely suck the heat out.
Forward thinking. Just realised I could be putting them on heated seats before the session and change when I get there.

Skated tonight and Sunday, might go for a roll tomorrow night too. Been enjoying skating more, mixing up the slappies with trying to improve basic flatground tricks.

Scaring the kids off and looking like a weirdo. I’m bringing my daughter next time. Old enough to be a grandparent of most of the kids in here

I went 4 times last week.
Thats a months worth for this time of year.
Some were shorter than others (& I spent more time on the broom for one of them) but every little helps.

I’ve only just stopped aching from last Saturday. Provisionally going tomorrow or Friday night. May take my daughter tonight (after brownies) as it is girls night.
