Video is really good.
Amazing scene in a town which I’ve always felt has been limited for spots…turns out, it’s all there.
So sick.

I used to live there 25 years ago and it was pretty good for spots back then. Proper good for SF style hill bombing too

Yeah, like I say - its just something I felt.
We’d go to Brighton in the late 90s/early 00s and the lap would be Level to Seafront and a couple of bits in between.

Theres that chip shop double set and the school with the brick bank in.

I felt that was it. For two decades.

There’s tons of stuff clearly. Al Hodgson has been slowly revealing it all for years now…Was just highlighting that I was wrong, basically.

I think it’s definitely too much to say it has ‘spots’ some of the shit they’re doing in this and what they’re doing it on is mad! The crust, the run ups / run outs are all so non spots but they’ve really dug in and made shit work. Massive props to all involved.

Yer mooched around Brighton quite a bit for a few weekends. Spots didn’t exactly spring to mind, will give this a watch when I have time

Digs is like a mini Tristan Funkhowser

Really enjoyed that, had a fun happy vibe to it. Blinkys cover trick was sick.

Couple of tricks from Headz made it into Quartersnacks Top 10 this week.

On a semi-related note, I see this rather sick looking park has just been finished in Hove

I was up that way six or so weeks ago. The area was still having work done on it then. Park looked rad. All small, low impact stuff from what I saw. There’s a pump track next to it that looks like a potential death trap and a nice flatground area next to that. I shall be swinging by for a skate next time I’m in the area for sure. Do you @deegwaad or anyone else know if it’s actually finished and open yet?

It’s just opened this afternoon mate :v:

Whoa. That park looks like a massive step up from what was previously in Hove Lagoon passing itself off as a skatepark.

Greedy bastards, there’s already one in the background too. Looks tasty that, not rammed full of scooter shit.

Having a regular job limits my time to watch full length vids. I wish I hadn’t waited until now to watch this. Premiere League UK scene video with pro levels of skating, production, context, references and music. Stoked to watch this.

A full video filmed on inaccessible Victorian architecture like this is art for art’s sake.

I remember the first time I saw Hove Lagoon, staying at my mate’s dad’s. It was the first time I’d been away from home without proper adult supervision, we just skated Burgess Hill park (which is actually shit), but I thought it was Mecca. Then we caught the train to Brighton, and I saw The Level and Hove Lagoon on the same day. I swear I’d never seen anything so perfect.

Obviously it’s nowt special but going from what we had in Spalding at the time 15/16 years ago to that was an eye opener to say the least. When we went to Crawley I thought I’d gone to Oregon!

I know that exact feeling too.
Big up

HEADZ is amazing throughout but Evan Johnson’s part is some special levels.
