One is, one joint.

I’m in Australia and literally just bought one of the properties, so not really looked into it.

Banks seem to be doing a lot of the help off their own backs though, so I’m sure if you had two, and needed it, you could negotiate with a human about it.

Big PR opportunity for the banks, but a headline-making publicity disaster if they fuck up and a nurse loses their home or something.

Cummings is the next Hitler. All this is his plan to kill off the non worthy.

I don’t believe that obviously, but at the same time if it turned out to have truth in it, I wouldn’t be suprised.

He allegedly said this ā€œherd immunity, protect the economy and if that means some pensioners die, too bad.ā€ Some horrible quotes coming from the stories from this.

Also the reason people knew Cummings was in Durham was because he was spotted out walking in the woods! Hope that was after self-isolating.

Yeah, he’s a piece of work. Reminds me of the weasly advisor to the king in one of the Lord of the rings films.

essential so that his children could be looked after, surely his children should have also been isolating with him.

Not sure how that excuse would fly for anybody else.
250 miles?
You can be sure that there have been people in similar circumstances who have found a way to cope without a 250 mile trip.

Pretty normal Murdoch response

Is Blondey skateboarding’s Dominic Cummings? He seems to have jetted from New York to Milan in the last two weeks.

this cummings stuff is a joke, leaking it on a bank holiday weekend is fucking cynical as well

This is getting embarrassing, he’s still got to go, nothing he’s said has justified the trip.

The difference in reaction from government ministers between this and that doctor shagging that woman and this cunt driving to Durham is staggering.

To save his arse the government are basically saying interpret the rules however you like.

They are undermining their own advice, endangering public health and lives to cover for one high profile aide. It’s hard to believe this is actually happening. In real life. This is actually happening to us right now. Fucking hell.

Contemptabile inmoral cunts. I can’t, but can, believe it.

I had a devil’s advocate thought regarding the government advice the other day. I assumed it was purposefully vague purely to deflect blame from themselves, but the other side to it is that this method leads people to start to reintegrate at different speeds and in different amounts. From the way people started behaving and how the media responded to any hint at a rule change, it seems pretty obvious that this country could not be responsible if there was any form of sudden ā€œnow you can do Xā€ moment. The whole country would be out at once like they were celebrating the end of the war. Maybe this is a way to start to stagger us back into normality

I’m still more inclined to believe the latter but that’s my go to position on anything the Tories do
