I had a devilās advocate thought regarding the government advice the other day. I assumed it was purposefully vague purely to deflect blame from themselves, but the other side to it is that this method leads people to start to reintegrate at different speeds and in different amounts. From the way people started behaving and how the media responded to any hint at a rule change, it seems pretty obvious that this country could not be responsible if there was any form of sudden ānow you can do Xā moment. The whole country would be out at once like they were celebrating the end of the war. Maybe this is a way to start to stagger us back into normality
Iām still more inclined to believe the latter but thatās my go to position on anything the Tories do
