Surely all that says is that the majority of European HGV drivers donât need to file a load of paperwork, possibly a fee and apply to a country which drives on the wrong side of the road.
This isnât a global issue, is it? Itâs just that because of Brexit, drivers understandably canât be arsed to jump through hoops to drive here when they have plenty of work on alreadyâŚ

Innit; this is just a way he can look look at the industry and say âwell, I tried my bestâ and wash his hands of the issue. Many of the industry bodies that have been campaigning for this sort of government intervention will probably agree with him, and just concede that itâs Britain thatâs unattractive as a whole rather than just an industry issue, which is likely true to an extent. If conditions in the job were better it might tempt people to put up with the shite for a few months, but as it is the factors pushing people away are still their and the things to attract people still arenât enough to outweigh them.

I think theyâve got absolutely no fucking chance. It doesnât matter whoâs in charge of the party or what they say. The Tories/social media have managed to make âleftieâ a dirty word amongst vast swathes of the population who used to vote Labour and instinctively hate Tories because they still had enough sense to know that turkeys shouldnât vote for Christmas. I donât know when or how this can change.

As a person who lives here, yes.
COP26 starts at the end of this month and bin collections are now every three weeks, meaning the place is filthy and the binmen are threatening industrial action. It got so bad that hey now need more people to clean up, and funnily enough, nobodyâs signing up.
Bus are getting cancelled, and trains donât run on Sundays anymore but maybe thatâs to be expected when this guyâs the Transport Secretary.
Shit like paying objectionable racist Janey Godley ÂŁ12k to front a TV campaign, then withdrawing it the next day after people pointed out who this woman actually is shows a staggering lack of awareness of themselves and their electorate. Sturgeonâs response to the deluge of criticism was âThese things happenâ.
The drugs crisis is out of hand, educational inequality has peaked and the government are still telling people everything will be GREAT if Scotland was independent.
You could basically just say a word and thereâll be some way the SNP have fucked that thing up. An independent Scotland could possibly work, just not with the fucking SNP at the helm.

Saw a few things on twitter about 1.5B user data being sold, but it all looked like publicly available data anyway. Havenât seen it in any real news sources.
Their statement doesnât say they didnât, so - as somebody who knows nothing about this sort of thing - Iâd say that was massively telling.
Boris just referred to those insulation people as âirresponsible crustiesâ which might be the only good thing heâs ever said.
