I don’t really even agree with what he said and I don’t think any reference to the Nazis ever really helps but why on earth should he have had to do that?! All manner of presenters express opinions on social media!

That doesn’t make it comparable to the Nazis for me. The government are a total and incompetent shower of corrupt shite but that doesn’t make them close to that in my opinion and even use of that word just makes the debate entirely toxic.

So just to confirm, when people in the pay of the BBC say something detrimental to the government (on their private twitter account) it’s an issue.
And when Sir David Attenborough makes a science, fact based show that could upset the government’s voter base, that gets put to the side also?
