They are complete Michael Fabricants. I’ll never use them again - they condemned our boiler and gas fire during winter with a 3 month old baby, then put loads of pressure on me to over pay for a new boiler install.
Got it down to a normal price eventually (we just didn’t have what they were asking for in savings at the time 
) and I later on found out it was likely there was fuck all wrong with the boiler and nothing wrong with the gas fire….criminal.
About 10 years ago they gave me a quote for a new boiler, 2 plumbers quoted around £2500, British Gas quoted me 7 grand and wanted to run a load of hot copper pipes down the side of the stairs and along ceilings.

I think they started at about £7k. In hindsight I wish I’d told them to get the fuck out. Can’t remember how much I paid in the end but it was about half the initial quote. Real Fabricantery.
