For someone who witnessed first hand how Boris Johnson was dragged into changing positions (urgh sorry) on various untenable things just shows how terrible he is as a politician. Actually, not condeming it straight away shows how terrible he is as a human being. There was never ever ever going to be a way to justify this.
The 3 twats who tried defending this today should also be kicked out of the party but they can’t be because they were following the official No 10 line at the time.
They just try and get away with everything. In the case of Michelle Donelan they basically have. A minister who libelled someone and used our money to pay off the person should be huge news but it’s all got washed away between the budget and this current scandal.
Hopefully this one might stick like Owen Patterson or Partygate.
