Agree, he could have just stood up and told people to bollocks but he didn’t he took the higher ground but that came across as silence and weakness.
That’s the quandry innit!
I remember the debate he had against BJ, he looked pissed off and his glasses made his eyes look weird. I know none of that should matter but it just does. It’s like saying pop music should be about music not image or looking fit. But the facts say otherwise
haha, yep, I get you and you’re right. I can totally empathise with that analogy and argue with myself about it all the time ha.
Yeah it was too easy for the media to paint him as a communist, anti-royal, terrorist sympathiser unfortunately.
When Cameron gave him a dressing down for not wearing a tie at their first PMs Questions and he almost folded on the spot, he just didn’t look like a strong leader from then on to me and I really wanted him to do well.
Rebranding him as ‘Boris’ certainly did the trick.
Boris the fictional character
Sad times when we let the media skew and tarnish the correct politics so easily. We don’t have a chance really. Money is power, the old school rule. We need Corbyn to do a Steve Rocco.
I wish there was a genuine leftist popular rag, the mirror is pretty lame. Plsy thm at their own game, control the press. Worked for Rocco
for all that i disliked about Corbyn i really liked how vocal he was about our relationship with the middle east and Saudi Arabia in particular.
he was also staunchly pro Palestine at a time when it was unfashionable to be so. would’ve been really interesting to see how he’d have handled the current issues
Yeah he’ll be proved right about those things too.
I’m not saying I don’t rate him, morally. I really do and it’s so grim how he was taken apart

Man of the people
How are you doing fellow plebs. I mean people
He’s worn a pair of trainers, talked football… back to the drawing board. Chicken cottage?
I can see Rayner as a future pm who drags Labour to the left
I’m also reading in some places that Rishi’s decision to call an election so soon is a gamble to protect Tory safe seats.
Rishi knows he’s going to lose to Keir Starmer but it could be complete carnage if Reform also take a big enough chunk of the votes in Tory seats. Right now Reform are struggling to get enough candidates in place, and so some say he’s doing that to get in before they sort themselves out.
said it here before but i love Angela Rayner. think she’d make a sick Labour leader. maybe in 5 years
Corbyn was so inflexible it came across like he simply didn’t listen to anyone. They say a good leader needs to be a listener, he definitely wasn’t that. His response to the anti semitic stuff just proved it.
I think Starmer is pretty shit in opposition most of the time but I’m hopeful he might be a decent PM.
