Which reminds me - there is no clear front-runner for the Democrats right now who is speaking out against all the insane and reckless shit the MAGA presidency is doing.
These days, you win elections by being present, visible, and familiar to the general public over the course of the entire election cycle. That gradual presence is what got Keir into power here by simply not being part of the Tory mess under Rishi/Boris. How the Democrats havenât learned this is astounding.

Therein lies the other problem, unfortunately. The US is still stuck in the (warped) mindset of anyone whoâs not a conservative white straight Christian male is a commie (or insert any other quasi-socialist pejorative). AOC may as well be Mao Zedong to most middle Americans.
As much as Iâm certain the US would benefit from someone energetic and principled like AOC, Crockett, or even Buttgeig, we have to recognise itâs just not palatable for the general public to have anyone who defies the mold.

Unfortunately that would leave JD Vance in-charge which is actually worse. As that guy hates Europe with a passion and would probably love a nuclear war.
