I still dream about the time I kickflipped over one of those almost 30 years later.

Man I straight on bigspinned over one of those once. No idea how, think it was because we were in a sports hall so the floor was so slidy I could just cheat code it round /cmoac

nosebump shove it’s after watching Spirit of the blitz and remember learning that I would never be able to do grabs trying to do stall grabs like nosepicks on them like Paolo Diaz on propaganda. I could never reach the board once in the stall.
Never ever done a melon grab which I was always gutted about. Ankle grabs.
Anyway…

Sports hall sessions were the best.

Growing up in a small town, around the time of the roller blade boom, there was a local guy that organised blader nights and they had an amazing jump ramp, loads of those bench’s for various Daewon machinations and some great round rails.

There were a few nights I went to, where it ended up being those sessions that everything just works. Proper melons off the jump ramp, aforementioned kickflip, ollying two on top of each other, long board slides etc.

Then at the last one they did, I got over excited and tried to board slide up a sloped rail. Completely stopped dead. Sacked onto rail, whilst stuck astride over it, it slowly seesawed forward, causing me to headbutt the floor. It made a sound so loud that everyone in the place stopped and looked at me crumpled in a heap, not sure which end of me was in more pain and distress.

Had to rock up to school and work the next day with a massive egg on my forehead and a few less brain cells.

The first time I met Chris Oliver was skating a Rareunit mini ramp in West Bay or Bridport. I think he must have been about 12 at the time. There was a school across the road and he suggested skating there. It had a small grass or flower bed gap in the playground and Chris appeared from around the side of the school building dragging one of those gym Swiss benches. I don’t know where he got it from. We stuck it over the gap and skated that for a bit. It felt pretty sketchy because we were in full view of passers by and I’m pretty certain that bench had been acquired by dubious means.

They were probably thinking ‘why is that grown man forcing that little boy to vandalise school property?’.

Oasis have ‘no plan for any new music’,

Oasis, new music? - The Beatles and T-Rex, (and a few others), would like a word.

Keep doing their solo projects, don’t tarnish their back catalogue, fans just want the classics anyway, wheel those old songs out every three years for another last ever reunion tour, Rolling Stones style, who have famously done lots of so called farewell tours.

How can Mangione afford a lawyer like that? Is he rich? Or have people chipped in?

Surely chipped in.

He is seen as a bit of an outlaw folk hero type in America. Kill the rich for taking and taking from the poor. Loads of people will be funding him I bet.

Well i don’t back murder but when you think how many people have died for their profits i can see why. The best he can hope for is to avoid the chair id guess
