Unbelievable that it’s always been there, would have never knew but it’s actually amazing that parts of it have just always been sticking up in plain sight:

Wow, I’m surprised some of that hasn’t been dug out already, plenty of thicket for sod and soil to be flung in.

Pretty sure Wicksteed in Kettering got buried back in the day as well if they wanna do that next

But maybe leave the helmet rule this time…

That place was a death trap before it was buried. Went in the late 80’s and the cracks in the big bowl were inches wide

I grew up skating near Colne in Lancashire, where (before my time) there was a massive 70s park, which once got visited by Shogo Kubo and some other Z-Lads. There was always the rumour that the park was still there, hidden under the floorboards of a factory they built in the 80s. I have no idea if this is true or not. Found some pics though: COLNE

He can’t keep getting away with this!

I also think Harrow got buried and then dug out

Wasn’t it the ‘performance bowl’ that got filled in because someone fell in and died?

Or was that Stevenage?

The old 70s Ilfracombe park was filled in and then the two little bowls and the clover were dug out by locals years later…

Yes but don’t think they died? Maybe they got stuck or something and they deemed it too dangerous

Ahh yeah I’ve got a pic of that somewhere. Saw some pics on a pub wall when I was down there before at the inlaws gaff

Forgot I can’t upload still but it’s this one!

Oh wow, that has the ‘pool’ behind dug out too. That was still almost totally full whenever I made it down there.

Those mellow bowls were so much fun even with no lips to speak of…

I always try to keep Ian Mackayes words in my mind while these fuckers still walk the earth

We can but hope
