I think if we looked at all politicians etc we’d see all sorts charged to the people. No guilt, not even a slight worry about claiming for a complementary dressing gown.

So Trump is sending a hospital boat to Greenland to take care of the ‘sick’ (you know Greenland with Universal healthcare). That no-one asked him to send and is not needed.
at the same time this happens… Trump having nucular subs patrolling their seas. That no-one would have known about if it hadn’t had to surface because of an emergency and seems to be going largely unreported. Not strange at all.

My local MP blagged a flat in London using tax payers as it wasn’t fair she had to go to HOP loads in covid. Oh and she only had 1 car… a brand new Porsche Macan Turbo S. When questioned she didn’t give a fuck.
