Farage must be feeling very proud this morning that the word pogrom is being used correctly and without any kind of irony in the 21st century.
Just listening to a BBC presenter refuse to say that Rupert Lowe and Restore Britain are racist. Like trying to say water isnāt wet. And then they wonder how we got here.
What exactly are they going to be hitting very hard if all their forms of defense are already gone? I know heās quite unpopular but really itās amazing how many Americans still think heās great.
Maybe Iām being optimistic but I donāt think thatās the case.
I just mean he still has about 35% approval.
@hugo what are the betting odds on a terrorist attack in the US (Canada/Mexico), or an assassination attempt on Trump during this world cup?
Iām no expert but those who still respect Trump are either those raking in the money, nut jobs or those with low IQ and no balls.
Average Americans are not stoked since their cost of living has gone up notably gas/petrol, their social ranking is in the gutter when they travel abroad and even Republicans are starting to step away from the shitshow with the midterms on the horizon.
Thatās the thing, they donāt link the two. No one likes to feel stupid so the average american will happily believe itās āBidenās economyā that is the problem. Even though he hasnāt been in office for over 500 days.
Itās not something you can bet on due to ethics
This is what I canāt my head around, I know all sorts of politicians can and do drop many promises theyāll have made to get elected but itās way beyond that. It defies definition now other than just being very much pro-Israel.
This John Healey resignation seems well sketchy to me. Suits Magaās narrative to a tee without being too tin foil. Hegseths best mate
Religion is a helluva drug. Abortion, gay marriage, white supremacy, guns. All things alot of Americans put above anything else and they know Trump will always protect ( or destroy ) those things, even though he is the most un-religious person on the planet.
Maybe those things are enough to keep a certain percentage of them still behind him ![]()
Canāt see it somehow but then it is easy to forget how different things are out there.
Starmer being out of office by the end of the world cup would be a pretty good bet now.
I donāt know how a PM can survive a defence secretary saying youāre not keeping the country safe.
Itās such a political move. If the defense budget is his motivation I donāt see how this makes any difference to that really. Itās weird. There was no danger of him not continuing under Burnham or whoever so itās not saving himself from the sinking Starmer ship. The only motivation I can see is just adding to this paranoid narrative that weāre heading for WW3 so they can justify less spending on public service/welfare etc. He wanted to take money for the NHS budget for weapons. I donāt believe anyone is going to, or could, fire a nuclear weapon at anyone in the modern age. Itās a racket. The idea that Iran or anyone else would be able to fire a nuclear weapon even if they had any desire to is a complete fantasy imo
