ahhhhh so basically, if he wins byelection and becomes an MP again for Clacton it means any donations he received prior to standing again become null and void and he canāt be scrutinised for it
this is a big gamble. if it pays off then he canāt be investigated officially anymore. if he loses then obviously heās toast.
this does however mean he KNOWS heās done something wrong and will get in trouble for it

I donāt think he wants to be elected, I think he is caught between a rock and a hard place. An inquiry in to his dealings about to bring him down and the promises made for that money that need delivered. This is his get out of it all clause.
