Industry Shakeup Incoming.

What a load of Wecking bollocks.

Made it to ‘posers turn the video off now’.

Just watched it. The age old argument about ‘corporate’ brands ruining skateboarding. He thinks Cordano is a jock. Probably true. Some bollocks about ‘identity politics’ and people not deserving of being sponsored.

To be honest, Weck has a point. Skateboarding does feel a bit stale. But Weck’s not bright enough to actually get at the crux of it.

The bottom feels like it’s falling out of skateboarding. There’s too many companies and sponsored skaters, and not enough skaters and money to sustain it all. Shops and parks are going to close. Brands are going to fold. People are going to be out of jobs.

And I don’t see a new wave of skaters really coming through to enliven it all. Excitement isn’t going to come from aging skaters skating curbs.

Feel like skating might almost completely die out in 30 or so years.

Oh yeah, him.

He appears to have spent the last few years in hiding with his face in a bag of glue.

Results as to be expected.

Weck is a tit.
The skate ‘industry’ is exploitative and trades in idealised youth.
Water is wet.

Very good call. Dude is cooked. Claiming, amongst a bunch of other methed out nonsense, he’s got a better frontside flip than Reynolds.

I didn’t really need much convincing after that last drivel but this has cemented for me that I shall neither be watching or posting any more of Weck’s shite.

The comments are gold

Isn’t Weck someone who just became an online personality because he never made it in skateboarding?

I forgot he had stuff in some older Sabotage edits yonks ago before he was hench, like.

The thumbs make him look unhinged :flushed:
